About SWAYAM-NPTEL

Bringing the IITs and IISc directly into our classrooms — quality education from India's premier institutes, available to every student.

The College is a Local Chapter (LC ID 3986) of NPTEL — the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning — a joint initiative of the IITs and IISc under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
NPTEL is a project initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2003, to provide quality education to anyone interested in learning from the IITs.
As a registered Local Chapter, our students can enrol in NPTEL online courses, attend proctored examinations, and earn certificates issued directly by the IITs and IISc — carrying significant weight in higher academic admissions and recruitment.
