A department-wise list of academic journals subscribed by the College Library, organised by session. Each list is available as a downloadable PDF, complementing the book collection with current research, criticism and contemporary commentary.
Fifteen newspapers — national English dailies, regional Punjabi and Hindi newspapers, and selected business and educational dailies — are placed on display tables for daily reading and reference.
Past issues of subscribed journals are bound and preserved in the periodicals section. Bound volumes are available for in-library consultation and are particularly useful for postgraduate dissertation work.
Faculty and postgraduate students are welcome to recommend new subscriptions. Suggestions should be addressed to the Librarian, preferably through the head of the department concerned, and are reviewed annually.
The print subscriptions above are complemented by extensive online access through N-LIST (INFLIBNET) and DELNET. Together these databases provide thousands of e-journals, e-books and bibliographic resources to faculty, research scholars and students — both on campus and through remote access.
