Book Hunt – 2017
Successfully organised by the Research Committee in collaboration with Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Library, the inter-college Book Hunt brought together students from across the region for a spirited literary contest.

Orientation sessions for newly admitted students at the start of each session.

Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha Library initiated an effort to launch its Blog on October 30, 2017. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Dr. V. K. Anand, Librarian, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala.
A Book Exhibition was successfully coordinated by Dr. Anita Chhatwal (Librarian) during the National Seminar on ‘Multiculturalism in Literature: Reinventing Identities’, showcasing curated selections aligned with the seminar's theme.
A One Day Workshop on ‘Building Digital Libraries Using Greenstone Digital Library (GSDL)’ was successfully organised — equipping participants with hands-on experience in creating and managing digital library collections.
The first edition of the inter-college Book Hunt was successfully organised in collaboration with the Research Committee of the College, drawing enthusiastic participation from neighbouring institutions.
An Expert Lecture was organised in collaboration with the Research Committee of the College, with Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh as the Resource Person of the day — sharing practical insights on academic writing, journal selection and the publication process.
Many library activities are co-organised with student volunteers — including writing for the Library Blog, helping curate book exhibitions, putting together reading lists, and supporting orientation sessions for juniors. Students from any class or department are welcome to volunteer.
Faculty members across departments suggest themes for exhibitions, recommend books and journals for acquisition, and contribute talks and reviews. Departmental activities such as project displays and seminar reading lists are often anchored in library resources.
